Perceiving our children

No matter how we perceive our own children, we are not the only ones who perceive them throughout the day. My perception is different because my heart is attached to them. A teacher's perception is different because her mind is attached to them. A friend's perception is different because they are in a constant state of learning about them. We all need to be careful how we perceive other people...whether adults or children.

Perception is considered a visual observation. Most of the time it is a powerful tool. However, caution should be used...the old adage continues to be an important reminder...don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see...
